nagato.gifを各自用意して、C:\Python25\Lib\idlelibに置く。
EditorWindow.py 195行目周辺
text_frame.pack(side=LEFT, fill=BOTH, expand=1)

text.image_create('1.0', image=self.nagato)
text.pack(side=TOP, fill=BOTH, expand=1)
text.focus_set()

ファイルを開く所が駄目だ。
self.nagato = PhotoImage(file='C:\\Python25\\Lib\\idlelib\\nagato.gif')
とフルパスにしてください。
ちょｗｗｗ、フルパス直打ちｗｗという批判は、レベルアップの糧として受け止めておきます。
